August 12, 2011 :: Mushroom Hunting This is probably the most interesting mushroom I saw yesterday.

August 11, 2011 I went out this morning and braved the mosquitoes to get some pictures at the park. I have been seeing a bunch of little Dragonflies and mushrooms while I run, so I thought it was time to actually get some pictures. I made a quick trip last night, but wasn't able to spend a lot of time. This morning I got some good mushroom pictures that I like (I didn't know it would be so interesting!) and this is the best dragonfly shot I got. A bunch of these little red ones are all over the place and are not shy, none of them are very big though.

August 09, 2011 :: More My Speed I was out hunting for some Dragonflies so I could join the club (do you get a card?) I decided this was more my speed and I have even more respect for those of you that get good pictures of those little guys. For those of you that don't look at other DailyPhotos here on SmugMug, there are a couple of regulars that take very good Dragonfly pictures. After two days sitting in a chair at a conference it was nice to get out and take some pictures. I'll continue the hunt on Thursday.
