December 27, 2011 7 of us piled in the car and drove from Tucson to the Grand canyon. It was very impressive and I have to go back to do some hiking! We just drove along Hermit road to take in what we could. We did get up at 6:00 to see the sun rise, but those will take a little more work before they get posted.

December 26, 2011 This is a day late because we were traveling to and from the Grand Canyon.

December 25, 2011 We went to Kitt Peak on Christmas Eve to see all of the telescopes. This is the crew that braved the cold weather at 7,000 feet.
