July 13, 2011 :: Beypazarı (Ankara Day 4) The conference Lorraine is attending had an excursion to Beypazarı which is a town over an hour away from Ankara. It has old Ottoman style houses and one has been turned into a museum to give people an idea of what life was like. This is a picture of us with Funda. Funda and Lorraine are both grad students at MSU and presented together at this conference. We have been staying with Funda's friends and family while we are here in Turkey. I'm not sure what we would do without her translation skills and patience!

July 12, 2011 Ankara Day 3 I took a day trip today to Eskişehir. I took a high speed train that offered some great scenery. This is one of the shots I took on the train.

July 11, 2011 :: Ankara Day 2 This was taken from the Ankara Castle. This is the first chance I have had to post any pictures so I posted one for the last 4 days. It was tough just picking one from each day.
