2011 Turkey :: Istanbul
We spent 16 days in Turkey in July of 2011. Lorraine & Funda presented at the PME Conference (Conference of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education) in Ankara and we spent time before and after seeing Turkey. We were lucky enough to travel with Funda who was a great tour guide and translator.
Our first 2 days were in Istanbul. We really needed more time but we saw a bunch of historical sites and had a chance to spend some time on the Bosphorus River.
